The practice has expanded to 10 surgeries with purpose built treatment rooms to provide the latest dental treatments. 

S3 Dental takes health and safety incredibly seriously and our specialist decontamination room is gold standard according to the health technical memorandum issued by the department of health. 

Over the coming months and years, we invite all patients of the practice to take time to view the improved facilities when they attend for their dental screenings and experience a new level of dental care.

The practice remains committed to providing NHS dental care to those patients registered and it is our intention by the end of the year to have improved delivery of service by reducing waiting times for appointments and simplifying the appointment booking process. 

The NHS has been under considerable constraints over recent years, and our dental services have performed admirably during this time. S3 Dental will continue to work towards strengthening its roots in the community by increasing the number of NHS dentists working at the practice.

For nearly 15 years, Dr Sami Butt has worked within the system to provide NHS dental care, and has treated thousands of patients. It has been an honour and a privilege for him to have this opportunity and he is incredibly grateful for this. However, as the practice has continued to grow, we have realised that the pressures placed by the NHS system are heavy and can have an adverse effect on the quality of dental care provided. This was a driving force for S3 Dental to increase the NHS workforce at the practice and to share the work across more hands.
 
During his career, Dr Sami Butt has undertaken a high level of training and sought to provide treatment that is considered complex but unfortunately now not regarded within the scope of general NHS dentistry.
 
From September 2017, he will be reducing his NHS dental commitment and focusing on the Private dentistry he provides. S3 Dental will ensure that all of his current NHS dental treatment will be completed, even if it extends beyond September with minimal disruption to dental care being provided.

From the beginning of September, Dr Charles Brandon will be joining the dental team and taking over Dr Sami Butt's personal NHS commitments. Dr Brandon is a very accomplished dentist, with a fantastic patient manner and is very skilled at endodontic dentistry.
 
All patients seen by Dr Sami Butt on the NHS will continue to remain registered on the NHS, and will be offered appointments with Dr Brandon as a default. 

Any patient who would like to remain registered under care of Dr Sami Butt is more than welcome to do so, but will need to contact the practice to change their registration. This can be done by emailing or calling the practice. Furthermore, anyone who does switch from being registered on the NHS to a Private patient at the practice will have the option to switch back to the NHS for a period of three years since their last NHS attendance.

New patients are able to register and book online by clicking the BOOK ONLINE button below.

This will open up a new page in your browser and allow you to register and book your appointment at a convenient time to you. You will also be able to select if you wish to be seen as a Private patient or on the NHS. You will need your mobile telephone and an email address to register and book. Please ensure you receive confirmation via email that your appointment has been booked. In your confirmation email you will also receive a link, which you will need to download and fill in your MEDICAL HISTORY and SOCIAL HISTORY forms. You will need to bring these documents filled in to your dental appointment along with 1 form of photo identification and one recent utility bill as proof of address. If you are on any NHS exemptions, you will need to bring proof of this to your appointment, otherwise you will need to pay for your treatment on the day.

We ask that you attend approximately 15 minutes before your appointment to complete your registration on the day.

Please note that we have a strict failed or missed appointment policy, and if you miss your appointment, you will no longer be able to book any further appointments at S3 Dental.
