During Enlighten teeth whitening treatment you will wear custom-made trays at home for a period of 2 weeks, after which you will need to visit S3 Dental Surrey to apply hydrogen peroxide to your teeth. The at-home trays contain carbamide peroxide, which works to lift stains and prepare the teeth for the in-chair treatment.
On the fifteenth day of treatment you will be invited to come into the practice and have your in-chair treatment. During this session hydrogen peroxide, a bleaching agent, will be applied to the surfaces of the teeth and activated by an intensive light beam. The in-chair treatment is carried out in three 20 minute sessions so your visit to the surgery will last around one hour.
