ALL ON FOUR DENTAL IMPLANT BRIDGE - A NEW SMILE IN JUST ONE DAY

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implant surgery is a restorative procedure that replaces missing tooth roots with a titanium post. The artificial root integrates into the jaw bone and provides anchorage for the dental crown or dental bridge. Dental implants replace damaged or missing teeth and are a welcomed alternative to dentures or dental bridges.

What Is The All On Four Technique?

With the ‘All On 4 Dental Implant Technique’, you can replace your missing or damaged teeth with a complete row of fully functioning replacement teeth using just four dental implants. This life-changing procedure gives you a secure and permanent replacement for both upper and lower dentures.

What Are The Benefits Of All On 4 Dental Implants?

  1. Restores oral functionality – The all-on-four dental implant technique replaces all your missing teeth, which means your oral cavity is fully functional again.

  2. Aesthetics – All on four dental implants drastically improve your smile by closing existing gaps from tooth loss, and restoring facial fullness, leaving you with a more youthful appearance.

  3. Immediate results- With all on four dental implants you will have a full arch of missing or damaged teeth replaced in one appointment meaning you leave our dental practice with a fully functioning, beautiful smile.

  4. Easier to eat and chew - With the all-on-four dental implant solution, you will be able to eat your favourite foods wherever and whenever you want.

  5. Eliminate health issues caused by missing or failing teeth - This revolutionary system helps reduce the risk of periodontal disease which has been linked to Alzheimer’s disease, strokes and heart disease.

  6. Easy to care for – Your all-on-four dental bridge is screwed into the implants and is only removed by your dentist at your dental check-up. Therefore you should care for them the same as your natural teeth, brush daily, floss if required as well as regularly visit the hygienist and dentist.

What Is The Treatment Process?

Appointment 1 –

Before the implant surgery, you will be required to have a cosmetic consultation with one of our dentists. During this consultation, you will have a full dental examination, including radiographs and a 3d scan using our intra-oral camera. This examination will gather all the necessary information required to plan your treatment.

Appointment 2 –

This appointment will be with the Implantologist who will do any necessary extractions and place the implants. The temporary prosthetic will be attached to the implants and you will leave with a beautiful new smile. This treatment is done under local anaesthetic. Sedation is available if required.

Before Treatment & Immediately After Treatment

Appointment 3 –

The dentist will see you a fortnight after your treatment to make sure everything is healing as it should.

Providing that the dentist is happy with how you are healing, you will not be required to attend the surgery for 6 months while the implants integrated into the bone. After 6 months we will start the process of making you a permanent bridge to place on the implants.

Before Treatment & After Final Bridge Placement

What is the healing process?

Immediately after the treatment, the area is likely to be swollen and you may have some bruising. The area may be a bit tender and painkillers will be required for at least the first 24 hours. The patient will be recommended to have a soft food diet for the first few weeks and good oral hygiene is essential to keep everything clean and avoid infections.
